Paris, France

The article aims to make known the seventeen drawings of The Louvre Museum, from the collection of the banker Everard Jabach, which the collector attributed to Francesco Salviati. These are exclusively «glued and framed» drawings described in the inventory drawn up at the time of the sale to Louis XIV, in  1671. Apart from the six well-known original drawings by this great maniera master, the other sheets are now reclassified under very different names.
